Greetings Church Family, Another week has passed and the COVID vaccine is rolling out, yet we don't appear to be any closer to opening at this time. I know this is a challenging situation for all, some are frustrated with the closures and would like us to open the doors immediately and yet others are thankful for the closures for reasons of safety and a desire to stem the spread of COVID. No matter your position I know it is hard not to be able to meet, worship and fellowship...Continue reading

For those that missed it please check out this message from Elder Wesley Torres Please find below the link to our latest video (9 min): Wesley - The Power of Prayer. This video presents my own testimony describing the power of prayer in my life and the way God answered them, during incredible events involving my father, father, and finally the doctors who operated me from a deadly brain cancer. I feel timid to express myself fully to you how this impacted my life, especiall...y the last event the results of my brain tumor surgery as I get emotional about this, even to write to you regarding that miraculous happening. I will let the video tell you the story. Please find below the link to the video. https://vimeo.com/497928676/0144d083fc Wesley - "The Power of Prayer" #BCStewardshipStories This video presents Wesley Torres' (British Columbia Conference President) testimony describing the power of prayer in his life and the vimeo.com

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13-14... _______________________ For those of you with children in your homes this short video is a nice illustration on the straight and narrow way and what it means. ** As a NOTE, the media company is not Adventist, and you will notice this from the title and linkbacks at the end of this video. However, the video illustrates the straight and narrow path that we are called to walk on in a creative and interactive way for kids. ______________________

Happy Sabbath! Today, take the time to seek the Lord and rest in His presence. - Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy Psalm 16:11a

How much does a life cost? It’s priceless! Jesus wants to free you from a life that chains you to the cycle of sin, of shame and regret, of fear and hopelessness. and He wants it more than you do - He gave the ultimate price for YOU! What do you say?

In the middle of uncertainty when safety and peace are searched for and desired more than ever, remember where our safety comes from - then share the peace and hope found in Jesus with those around you!

Greetings Enderby Church Family, I'm writing to inform you all that we are Re-Opening the Enderby Church this Sabbath June 20th! At this time we are only holding the Worship Service which will now begin at 10:45 am, so I encourage you all to be there at 10:30 am so we can get you all seated in order to start the service on time as we will have a few protocols to review together. Sabbath School and all division classes are on hold for the foreseeable future.... When You Arrive: 1. You will be met outside by the greeter who will take down your name (name and number for guests) in order to keep track of all those in attendance, just like with restaurants, this way if someone was to come down with COVID19 we could then inform all those who were in church with them. We of course will do our best to practice confidentiality. 2. Then you will be let into the lobby where you will see arrows clearly marking the paths to follow to the sanitizer stands, bathrooms and sanctuary. 3. Once in the Lobby please keep the mingling to a minimum in order to keep the flow of traffic moving into the Sanctuary as the Lobby has a occupancy limit of 5 at this time. 4. A deacon will be stationed in the lobby to usher you towards the Sanctuary. 5. A second deacon will be stationed in the Sanctuary to usher you to the furthest forward available seat. Please follow the deacons instructions, as we don't have the privilege of sitting in our God Appointed seats at this time. That was some Pastoral humour! 6. Once seated in the Sanctuary we will begin service promptly at 10:45 am and I will bring you through all the guidelines and answer your questions at that time! I know this is not church as usual but I reassure you that we are doing our best to follow the BC Government guidelines while still keeping things as simple and easy to follow. I hope to see you all there this Sabbath, Pastor Cavin.

Happy Sabbath! Have you noticed the thunderstorm watches in effect? We all have and will experience the storms of life - but what is your default reaction? Do you run and hide? Lose hope and grow discouraged? Feel overwhelmed? ... God asks us in His Word "Why are you so timid?" He asked; "have you still no faith?" Mark 4:40 Even if you don’t see Him in the middle of the storm, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He will never leave us nor forsake. May your default always be Jesus and His promises.

Devotional and District Update for June 12th, 2020 Greetings Church Family! I know many of you are anxious to fellowship together again, fortunately Armstrong has the privilege of worshiping together tomorrow at 10:45am for the divine service. At this time and for the coming weeks I am asking for everyone to be respectful and to hold off from visiting other churches than the one you're a member at while we begin this restart, because don't want to displace local members from ...being with their church families since we have occupancy limits of 50. Please be patient as we are aiming to open Enderby and Grandview for worship in June 20th.....but don't quote me on that, just wait for a confirmation. This Sabbaths Scripture is Mark 4:35-40 and the offering is for Canadian Indigenous Ministries. Have a Blessed and Happy Sabbath, Pastor Cavin

Greetings and Happy Sabbath! I know we are all excited to gather together again soon and in this video you will get the latest updates in regard to re-opening as well as other announcements, the offertory reading and the devotional. Please forgive the unrefined nature of the video tonight as I've been struggling to keep up all week and didn't have too much extra time for putting this together. Extra Announcement: I DO plan on making these weekly Devotional Videos until all th...ree churches are re-opened so that everyone continues to get the district announcements, offertory ready and a shared worship thought. Remember to check your email and Facebook pages for further updates regarding the re-opening of your local church! Have a Blessed Sabbath, hopefully the last one before many of us can worship together again! Pastor Cavin Scripture: Hebrews 10:24,25 Offering: Local Church budget.
