On June 11th, 2021, Nancy Darlene and I are showing a collection of paintings at the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre. The show is titled: Accessing the Quantum: The Relationship between Energy and Matter. Nancy and I are doing a collaborative painting that showcases both our work on one canvas. We will announce more information about the open house two weeks before June 11th. Nancy’s work stands alone in its unique beauty. Her paintings are driven by an inner passion lead by... spirit and infused with intuitive messages. The use of crystals and other elements as feathers, also may be introduced depending on the intent of the piece. The primary focus of the paintings/or drawings that Nancy creates, is specific to each individual that commissions her. What makes Nancy’s work so unique is that she includes an Intuitive reading that reveals itself during the process of each creation. My paintings are methodically created by infusing layers of symbols, sacred geometry, and mandala art. My work generally has a theme and message that I am trying to convey. Being a tattoo artist has influenced the way that I paint. The work tends to have sharp detail and a strong illustrative focus that’s worked out in the design process. Nancy and I have very different styles. However, there is underlying energy to our work that moves the viewer to the same place. We look forward to showing our work together. We feel there is an excellent juxtaposition of styles that display intricate detail and inspired simplicity. Thank you to the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre for having Nancy and I show our work.

I just finished this hand of Fatima painting this morning. It’s acrylic on canvas. 24 X 36 It is titled The Purity of Love" The hand of Fatima meaning: As Fatima is seen as pure and without sin, The Hand of Fatima is considered a symbol of protection, power and strength. The Hand of Fatima symbolises the Five Pillars of Islam: Faith, Prayer, Pilgrimage, Fasting and Charity. Another name for the hand of Fatima is Hamsa. The roses represent love. I placed thorns around it to keep away evil and provide extra protection around this symbol. I will have giclee prints made soon.

We are happy to announce that we can reopen on Feb 16th. We are excited to see our clients again! Please be patience with us as we reschedule all the clients we missed. We are not taking new clients at this time, we feel that tending to the work we have is our first priority. We will make a post when we open our books to new clients again.

Since the lockdown I decided I would use my time painting. Here are my creations so far.

However, we are the ones paying a huge price while big business rolls on making more and more profit. I see 1-3 people a day, how is that a risk? Walmart and Costco has hundreds of people swinging their doors every min of the day. In 60 seconds Walmart and Costco has more foot traffic than I have all year. Yet I'm told I can't work right now? How is this right?? When I first heard we were going into lockdown I was pissed off!
