Engage and Change 19.11.2020

As you know yesterday we received a fair amount of snow here in Toronto. December is just around the corner, and we have a feeling it will snow again before we know it. On snowy days, it’s very important to have proper winter attire such as gloves, a hat and a warm jacket. So many of us have several hats in our closet and don’t think much of it. But not all of us are so lucky. There are thousands of people in Toronto who are homeless on any given night and do not have approp...riate winter clothing. Even though Project Winter Survival will be a bit different this year, it will still be happening. Please visit our website and donate today. Every little bit helps. We thank you in advance for all of your generosity and support. https://www.engageandchange.org/project-winter-surv/donate/ #EngageAndChange #Toronto #GTA #ServingOthers #Homeless #Homelessness #StayWarm #Community #ColdMonths #Support

During the winter months, the homeless have to deal with more than just the cold. They also have to deal with freezing rain, weather well below zero and intense winds. This past weekend was very chilly and quite windy. Simply walking home on a cold windy day can be difficult. Just imagine sleeping in those conditions! You'd be lucky to get just a couple of uninterrupted hours in. Even though Project Winter Survival will be different this year, people still need our help. Plea...se visit our website today and help us save lives this winter. https://www.engageandchange.org/project-winter-surv/donate/ #EngageAndChange #Toronto #GTA #ServingOthers #Homeless #Homelessness #StayWarm #Donation #HelpingHand

There’s nothing like sitting by the fire on a cold fall evening with family. However, not all of us have that luxury. There are thousands of people here in Toronto that do not have a place to call home. This can be incredibly dangerous during the winter months especially without proper clothing. Spending just a few hours outside without a hat and gloves can be very uncomfortable. Just imagine sleeping on the streets all night without proper winter clothing. Hypothermia is i...ncredibly dangerous but very preventable. Please donate today and help us provide winter supplies to those who desperately need it. You have the power to make a difference. https://www.engageandchange.org/project-winter-surv/donate/ #EngageAndChange #Toronto #GTA #ServingOthers #Homeless #Homelessness #StayWarm #Community #ColdMonths #Donation #Support

When you hear the word winter, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Hot chocolate? Snow days?... Christmas movies? Even though the winter months can be fun, they can also be incredibly dangerous. Sleeping outdoors on a cold winter night can lead to several health problems and even death. Thousands of people in Toronto are homeless on any given night and have nowhere else to go other than the street. Just imagine how scary and lonely that must feel. Just imagine what it must feel like not having a bed or a roof over your head. The homeless need our help now more than ever. Please donate today and help us save lives this winter. Every dollar makes a difference. We thank you in advance. https://www.engageandchange.org/project-winter-surv/donate/ #EngageAndChange #Toronto #GTA #ServingOthers #Homeless #Homelessness #StayWarm #Thankfulness #Generous

Project Winter Survival will be here before we know it. The last couple of days have been surprisingly beautiful outside. Even though we really appreciate it, we know these warm days won't last much longer. ... It won't be long until most days are well below freezing. Even though the winter months can be a lot of fun, they can also be unpredictable and dangerous. Thousands of people here in Toronto are homeless on any given night. And COVID-19 has made it far from easy to escape the cold. Even though Project Winter Survival will be a bit different this year, it is still happening! Please donate today and help us save lives this winter. https://www.engageandchange.org/project-winter-surv/donate/ #EngageAndChange #Toronto #GTA #ServingOthers #Homeless #Homelessness #StayWarm #ProjectWinter #Community #ServeBack
