We recently partnered with Bunia Actualite - an independent news organization based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to create awareness surrounding the importance of independent journalism ahead of the DRC's federal electing in December. In collaboration with PeaceGeeks, SFU's African Student Association, Voice of Ituri and Amnesty International, Bunia Actualite will hold an event on Oct 24th to further discuss the challenges facing Congo.
