An established, friendly office Kitsilano is looking to add a hygienist to our team 4 days Monday to Thursday. Just thought I would put it out there also looking to add a full-time Rockstar Sterilization Assistant and or chairside assistant. Our office is closed concept with a safe working environment and a Covid 19 protocol are in place. All PPE are provided. For the safety of patient; staff and our community cleaning, disinfection and sterilization knowledge is a must.... Fully digital, fun staff, awesome patients, knowledge of tracker asset. We are looking for that special person that can be a team player with great communication skills! May 5, 2020. Dear our value patients, Update on Covid19 ... Dr. Bonnie Henry and B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix has revealed a three-stage plan to return things to a somewhat normal, starting with reopening some businesses and parks, resuming non-urgent surgeries. So, hoping fingers crossed we can open soon to help you with your dental needs. Still at this time our office is only open for emergency dental only. The office is normally open on Tuesday and Thursdays between 10am and 4pm to address any dental emergencies, but the day and time may vary. If you have any other dental appointments that were scheduled between May 1st to May 15th they have been automatically been postpone at this time. We are not booking any cleaning appointments at this time. We will follow up with you to reschedule your dental appointment as soon as we are able to treat your dental needs. COVID 19 and your Dental Insurance. Regarding the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) our office may not be able to confirm your dental coverage for emergency procedures. Due to your insurance company could be closed or are working remotely and can not access full dental details. ... For this reason, you maybe required to pay the dentist up front and get reimbursed directly by your plan contract. Be safe and healthy - I am now ready for my walk !

If you havent heard the term flatten the curve, you likely will in the coming days. Its a simple concept: If everyone gets sick simultaneously, hospitals and health care workers will be overwhelmed. This is a worst-case scenario that can lead to more people falling ill or dying due to a lack of hospital beds, ventilators, doctors, and nurses.... If everyone does what they can to limit the spread of the disease, it can prevent a spike in daily infections. This buys the health care system time to treat more people, free up more beds, and possibly develop a vaccine or some form of medication. You can help flatten the curve by: * Self-isolating. * Avoiding touching your face. * Washing your hands thoroughly * Social distancing. * Avoiding gatherings. * No travelling. * Working from home if you can. The more we do this the closer we get back to normal day to day living. Everyone please all be safe!

What we have learned thru this crisis.. Learned that everyone should be willing to trade some freedom for the greater good of their community. Learned to appreciate nature and our environment.... Learned how to be content with ourself and appreciate to our alone time. Learned the importance of family and friends. Learned that the earth where we all place our feet is home to everyone.
