Was invited to speak to the grade 12 students at Burnaby North Secondary School, which is actually the same high-school I attended 11 years ago! It was a wonderful experience being able to step back into the clasroom, and to share with them what I wish someone had told me when i was their age.
Last weekend I had the pleasure of co-hosting the Mission Central SERVE Conference. The Mission Central Conference, formerly known as Missions Fest, has been an annual tradition for the past 36 years. This year marked the first-ever virtual conference - and it was amazing seeing the turnout! Over the past two days there were:... 5600+ conference platform visitors 2100+ seminar experiences 22k+ visits to exhibitor pages The theme of everyday missions really resonated with the audience, as we explored creative ways that the love of God is being expressed around the world, and heard powerful stories of the transforming power of Jesus. Be sure to check out the next Mission Central conference happening later this month: https://conference.missioncentral.ca/ #vancouver #missions #missioncentral #serve #conference #ministry

Yesterday I had the honor of hosting the LeaderImpact Global Virtual Summit, alongside my fantastic co-emcees Braden Douglas and Shaila Visser. With over 800 attendees participating from over 62 countries, it was an electrifying day as we heard from top leaders around the world.... Marcus Buckingham shared some practical insights into building resilient teams, Danielle Strickland shared candidly on the transformative power of giving, and N. T. Wright highlighted how Jesus' ministry is a compelling model for marketplace leaders. One thing that really stood out to me was seeing the importance and relevance of servant-leadership as a common thread throughout all the keynote speakers and session hosts, and that making a true Impact is found by investing in the people around you. If you're a leader looking to grow alongside other leaders to grow in skills and make an impact, then you definitely have to get involved with LeaderImpact!
