#tipoftheday Remember these cuties? "How can I preserve my figurines?" is a question I get a lot from clients.... These unique cake toppers are made from gumpaste, a pliable sugar dough. Gumpaste hardens so I can craft figurines like these adorable elephants for your special cake. While they are edible, I wouldn't suggest eating them because they get *really* hard. So how do you save them? It's simple, really. Keep them dry and out of the sun, and they will last for years. Have any of those silica packs that come with shoes and purses? Add one of those and cover your figurine with glass. An upside-down bell-shaped vase works really well and looks beautiful! Tomorrow is #PinkShirtDay. In 2007, two teenage boys in Nova Scotia organized a protest to support a Grade 9 student who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Bullying and Harassment are NOT okay. Ever. And yet, 1 in 5 kids are affected by bullying. On top of that, cyberbullying is on the increase, especially now as we struggle through a global pandemic.
