At long last, patios are out on Dunlop Street in downtown Barrie as the first phase of our streetscape revitalization is complete. Welcome to Barries new downtown and flexible street environment! Looking forward to great things happening in the BIA.

It is great to see old projects wearing well. Sunset Point Park Rotary Lookout and lawn in Collingwood full of people participating in various activities this weekend. Demonstrates the important social and recreational release that good parks and public space can offer during a public health crisis.

Mountain House at Windfall has long been one of our passion projects and we are proud of the community that we helped create with Georgian International. We are proud to support the Collingwood Blackhawks Atom BB team who won the Jim Wilson Chevrolet Buick GMC Winter Classic this weekend, undefeated. Although we like to think that the Envision-Tatham/ Remax sponsored warm-up jerseys played a small role.......these talented players and great coaching team needed no help

Envision-Tatham recently completed the first phase of the Downtown River Precinct project along Owen Sounds Sydenham River. The project included the creation of a pedestrian promenade along the river, an outdoor farmers market adjacent to the historic Farmers Market building, and pedestrian and bicycle connections to the downtown shopping district and City Hall. The project was unveiled to the public on September 28th through Owen Sounds first annual Riverside Reunion festival which included live music, market vendors, artists, beer gardens and childrens activities. The event was a success, with lots of residents coming out to launch this new event and to discover their new riverside public space.

Thanks to all the kids and families who came out this morning to share design ideas for the Sunset Point Park Play Space in Collingwood. We were fortunate to have some incredible young minds at the table to remind us how to PLAY.

WAKE UP! and get down to Sunset Point Park this morning with the kids. We are pulling out the markers and having a another group design/ brainstorming session with kids and families at the EnviroPark Picnic Pavilion (9:30am to 11:30am). So come draw your dream playground and tell us how you want to PLAY.

Make sure you bring the kids out tomorrow morning for our last design workshop at EnviroPark. Last chance to guide the future of this amazing play space.

Awen Gathering Circle - Once in a while our work connects us with a greater purpose, passionate and dedicated people, and personal growth. We are honoured to have supported Dr. Duke Redbird, Brook McIlroy Architects and the Town of Collingwood to realize a space that honours the First Nations history of south Georgian Bay and brings people together in reconciliation. On September 6, 2018, the United Steel Workers of District 6 rolled up their sleeves to help the Town of Collingwood and Envision-Tatham finish the Awen Gathering Circle in time for the First Nations dedication. It was a lot of fun getting dirty with these generous folks and we cant thank them enough for their hard work and community spirit.

The Collingwood Gathering Circle at Harbourview Park....what an amazing first step in the realization of the Collingwood Waterfront Masterplan. Guided by the vision of Dr. Duke Redbird, Brook McIlroy and their team of First Nations architects really knocked this out of the park. Mountaincroft Park in Collingwood is open just in time for winter! Why the excitment? In collaboration with neighbourhood residents, we designed this park with winter in mind. Check out the results!

In late October, we participated in the Grand Opening of the Heritage Park Skateboard/BMX Park in Collingwood. It is exciting to see this phase of our plan completed, as it is truly the centerpiece of the park. We are amazed at the skill and athleticism of the youth and believe that showcasing their talent will encourage positive interactions within the community. We learned a lot collaborating with Newline Skate who provided design expertise and construction services for the skateboard/BMX facility.
