Finally getting the chance to post my last few photos of my grooms from before Christmas.

Very well said! Update - Dog owners, I can't believe this post still applies today. Due to the shutdown, please wait for your groomers, until they are mandated back to work. We know January 23rd can be stretched to a later date, in those instances reach out to your groomer for tips and tricks to keep your dogs comfortable (skin, coat, and nail care) and remember to brush and comb your dog in the interim Passionate post ahead, you've been warned As a dog groomer we are mand...ated to be closed by the province. Not because we don't want to help but because we are at risk of being fined and penalized heavily. Anyone still offering services is going against the mandated order - while the rest of us, as hard as it is, are remaining professional and waiting for us to be allowed to legally resume services. Many of your groomers would appreciate you waiting for them to resume operating instead of finding someone operating illegally at this time, but the choice is yours who you support in the best interest of your pet. If you have a relationship with a groomer reach out to them, they are your best resource to give you tips and tricks to manage your dog's coat and nails while we are unable (not that we are unwilling) to at this time. If matting or nails are an emergency the college of veterinarians of Ontario are given permission to handle these cases. Not for maintenance of long nails or coat but pelted matting and nails growing into pads. It is frustrating to us groomers that we are unable to accommodate your requests for grooming when we feel it is an absolute necessity to maintain their health and well being and hope that the province will allow us to reopen soon. Until then we hope you continue to support your groomers in doing what is required of them at this time. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. I am here to update you with some crappy news. Unfortunately by order of provincial law, grooming has been suspended during the shutdown. I will be closed until the end of January and at that time i will begin rescheduling (incase it's extended again). Please keep in mind this applies to all groomers in the province. If you find someone to groom your dog over shut down please keep in mind their insurance will not cover them at this time. E...ven if they say they contacted the municipality and have permission, municipality law cannot override a provincial order. I agree that groomers should be able to remain open but we all need to do our part for the health and safety of our community, right now that means adhearing to the provincial mandate to close.
