Envy’s Dog House Boarding And Grooming

I recently finished an online grooming coarse from the talented Jess Rona Grooming. It focused specifically on faces, the shapes of face, coat type, which angle to point your scissors, a basic blue print on how to turn any dog into a puppy again. Amazing tips on line brushing, proper handling, how to make the groom even more comfortable for the dog, along with so much personal development, in the form of pods-casts, reading lists, and Spotify playlist to brighten your day! So... much amazing information in such a short time and accessible for a mom like me with a busy business and two kids, and a husband busy calving cows. That’s totally hard to find! I wanted to post some progress photos over the last two years since Envys Dog House opened. With continuing education I am constantly trying to improve and build upon my skills to bring my clients the best! This coarse has definitely been a game changer for me. It has helped me fine tune my scissor skills for dogs faces to make they look like a puppy again! I really appreciated taking a moment today to look back at my grooms and recognize all the progress I have made! Pepper came in for a spa day for his birthday. And left feeling like a new puppy! Happy 15th Birthday Pep! It’s my pleasure treating you to a spa day, you are always such a gentleman.

One of these animals is not like the others. Our farm kitty Sheriff Catty was living dangerously the other night when I was letting the boarders out for their bedtime potty break. He’s an excellent mouser, and the friendliest cat but maybe getting a bit too comfortable with all the dogs!

Mr Maks was in for a spring cleanup. Came as hairy as a lion and walked out looking and feeling soft as a lamb. (spring metaphor ) Thanks so much for trusting me with you sweet pup Amy he was such a good boy!

We had a very busy weekend at Envys Dog House this weekend for boarders! And also Bear has some very exciting news to share. Congratulations Dallas and Candice!

Pepper, previously, would react negatively when someone went to touch his paws. He was afraid. Since day one I have been working on trust with him. He totally trust me to always be gentle and respectful of him! And that makes me so so happy. Way to go Pepper ... This is such a common issue for new clients but with some time, respectful handling, patience and care. I always see a positive change! See more
