HOW LONG DOES AN EON SKIN THERAPY PRODUCT TYPICALLY LAST? ~ We get this question a lot, so today we're sharing what the typical shelf life is of our products. There are two main categories of natural skincare products: Anhydrous (containing no water) and hydrous (containing water or a water-based ingredient). Hydrous products must have a preservative added or harmful bacteria can grow, leading to infection. Anhydrous products, on the other hand, are blends of butters and oi...ls that do not need to be preserved (as long as they won’t come into contact with water). ~ Most of our hydrous products have a shelf life of 12-18 months, but we do recommend using within six months of opening for maximum freshness. Our beautiful anhydrous facial oils, balms, body butter and deodorant are best used within 6-12 months. ~ Everything is made in small batches so we can ensure you’re getting your product with the longest shelf life possible!
