EOSC (Eastern Ontario Shooting Club) 21.10.2020

Renewals for the 2020/2021 season will begin starting Sept. 1 and run until March 1st. There is a change to how we will renew this year, basically If you are renewing by credit card, then you will renew the same as you did last year, but if you are renewing with EMT or Cheque then there is a slightly changed procedure. (No Code this year) The URL for these instructions can be found at... https://eosc.ca/How-To-RENEW2020 (You will need to be logged in to see this page) As usual, we recommend members from Quebec renew Sooner than Later so that you have time to renew your LTATT with the SQ.

EOSC is going to be re-opened on May 19th. NOTE: We require volunteers from our membership in order to manage Sat & Sundays (9am - 5pm), the Land owner will manage Monday - Friday. the sign in and sign out of members ... manage the number of members on site assignment of ranges If you can commit to a shift, Please contact [email protected] _________________________________________________ Below is the E-mail from the Land owner We are very happy to announce that the Eastern Ontario Shooting Club will be opening its doors on Tuesday, May 19th at 9 :00 am. The ranges will be open from 9 :00 AM to 5:00PM seven days a week. As we continue to live with COVID-19, things will be slightly different in the coming months. In an effort to protect all of the club members and staff, the following measures have been put in place and should be respected. As we all know we are ALL in this together and we at the EOSC want to do everything we can to be safe. MEASURES - A registration booth has been installed at the EOSC entrance. Each member will register with the attendant and provide his/her name, membership number and shooting range where they will shoot. - Inside the grounds of the EOSC, members will practice social distancing and keep 6ft apart. This is everyone’s responsibility. - In order to respect social distancing rules, the EOSC cannot safely accommodate more than 34 members/shooters at any one time. Therefore, members may need to wait outside the Club before being able to enter the grounds. - In order to give everyone a fair chance to come and shoot, we ask that you limit your visit to the EOSC to TWO hours. - Guests will NOT be permitted at the moment. - Each range has been equipped with hand sanitizer, disinfectant and paper towels to maintain firing stations (tables and chairs) sanitized. Members are expected to sanitize stations before their shooting session. - We ask that members who have recently travelled outside the country or who are displaying any signs of the virus, to please remain at home That’s it for now! We realize that this new reality will take some getting used to but with everyone’s cooperation we should have a good summer. Thanks to all the members and hope to see you soon.

2020 Ladies Day has been cancelled :(

EOSC (Eastern Ontario Shooting Club) 03.09.2020

Looks like we didn't make the GVMNT's list of businesses that can stay open, As of right now the ranges are currently closed, a potential $500,000.00 fine for staying open isn't worth it. Check your e-mail for more details.

The Board of Directors voted in favour of donating $2000 to the CCFR. The fight we have infront of us is huge and the CCFR has been doing important work in this fight. We challenge all other clubs to make similar donations. This is a critical time for firearms owners, we must act now, as a community.
