The Canada Womens Sevens is seeking to recruit volunteers for the third annual HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in Langford, May 27th & 28th We are recruiting volunteers in a number of key positions including merchandising, fan experience hosting, operations, team services and more! Volunteers are asked to work a shift on both Saturday & Sunday to ensure they become experts in their field of operations over the tournament weekend. Shifts will run from approximately 8:45am 2:...15pm & 2:00pm 7:00pm each day. Volunteers will be provided with kit and food on site, as well as the ability the stay and watch the games post shift (or come early to watch)! At this time we are also recruiting for the ball crew role responsible for collecting and delivering the match balls to players during each game. However we ask that ball teams apply in groups of six in order to streamline operations and be familiar working with each other. These roles are determined on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interested volunteers are asked to reply to [email protected] with their availability for both Sat & Sun based on the shift times above, as well as provide information regarding their previous volunteer experience. If you are below the age of 20, please disclose your age, as we want to ensure all our teams are well balanced.
