Lance Merrifield, the GM of our commercial company, celebrated a milestone this month - 10 years at Epic! Lance started as a Project Manager in our Residential company, then took on the role of Production Manager before moving in 2014 to GM of our newly launched Comnericial Company, which has grown from 5 employees to 55 plus employees - Congrats Lance!

Socially distanced Halloween candy made its way to the Epic offices and yard today... delivered by Nacho Libre (Jamie Popoff) and his side kick pizza girl (Kelley Roan) candy made its way on a 6 foot long Eavestrough to all who had a sweet tooth!

Food Truck Friday at Epic Group of Companies... we fed over 100 servings of waffles & Chix early this morning - it is always a highlight to be able to thank our 167 employees for their hard work and commitment to being a leader in our industry and to operating the largest Exteriors company in Calgary! We launched a COVID comfort strategy today... where employees can choose between 3 coloured wristbands (red, yellow, greeni) to communicate their level of comfort each day to others they come in contact with at work. Sometimes we have members of our households or cohorts that have health vulnerabilities we want to protect or members of our families that have symptoms but have not been tested yet.

A special shout-out to Matt Oliver (Matthew McCormick). Congratulations on your 5 year anniversary, Matt! We thank you for these past five years of fine workmanship and company loyalty. We know that the growth and success of our company is largely dependent on having strong and capable team members, such as yourself, and recognize the contribution you make in helping us maintain the strong position we enjoy in.
