Reposted from @fromdreamertocreator Want to guess what title is this Book Lover's favourite book? There is still nothing like the turning of the pages of a physical book. I have an ereader but it still doesn't beat an actual book. My love of reading led me to become a dreamer which led me to become a creator. I discovered my passion for entrepreneurship in the pages of a book when I was 13. Encourage your children to start reading early. Reposted from @fromdreamertocreator Reposted from @dreamer2creatormagazine I do not think I introduced myself before, so here goes!!! I am a black female entrepreneur with a love of business and community. I was born in Jamaica, attended most of my schooling in Jamaica before moving to Canada. In addition to Dreamer 2 Creator Business Magazine, I am also a business consultant, helping entrepreneurs navigate their start-up process. I wrote a book some time ago - From Dreame...r to Creator: Reframing Deterrent in Our Path. And yes, the magazine came out of the book. I am also a student currently pursuing my doctorate in business administration, focusing on micro-entrepreneurs and project management. I love education; I love learning, which came from my love of reading as a child. That love of reading led to a dream of writing a book, and my community read the created "dream" and asked me for a follow-up project. The magazine happened. When I do not do all of the above, I am reading, watching sports or watching YouTube food videos. Fun fact: My degrees are from Jamaica, Canada & the USA! Regardless of time, resources or background, dreams can be created! #entrepreneurwoman #entrepreneur #entrepreneurlife #entrepreneurship #bramptonentrepreneur #canadianentrepreneur #jamaicanentrepreneur #jamaicangirl #jamaicanroot #canadianimplant #torontoentrpreneur #yyz #dreamer #creator #businessconsultant #jamaicangirl #student #learner #smallbiz #smallbusiness #entrepreneurmagazine #dreamer2creator #dreamertocreator #blackbusiness #blackentrepreneur #caribbeancanadian Supporting black businesses! - #regrann - #regrann See more

Reposted from @dreamer2creatormagazine This was our first issue! Our first will always be special. Here are a few reasons why: 1. I stepped out. We started something even though we did not have all the pieces together. We had no money, no publishing industry knowledge, a small network of entrepreneurs, a vague concept and family! 2. Learning took place. We knew very little about the publishing industry. I had to learn and fast! I had to learn introduction to graphics desi...gn, InDesign, editing, rewriting, teaching, patience, colour combination, the list can go on and on and on. 3. It revealed purpose. I did not realize how many entrepreneurs needed help until we started the magazine. We provide an opportunity to be in a magazine and for entrepreneurs to teach different business concepts based on their experience. Canadian entrepreneurs do not have to pay for the pleasure of being a contributor. How many Canadian business magazines do you see in stores? Not many! 4. It still makes me cry! A year later, I still get teary-eyed when I think of the fact that we did the impossible. With all that, would you like to be featured in a magazine? Would you like to help an entrepreneur with a business concept? Email or DM us. We exist for you!!!! #thegreatwhitenorth #wethenorth #learning #businesseducation #businessmagazine #newsstands #magazinestand #blackhistorymonth #smallbiz #financial #nichemarket #ecofriendly #tea #support #fashion #consultant #chef #foodie #wholesale #speaker #entrepreneurmagazine #entrepreneurship #entrepreneurmindset #businessquotes #canadianentrepreneur #mindfulentrepreneur #dreamers #creators #readers See more
