I hate having to make posts like this but as time goes on its becoming clear that I need to share some info regarding Nicoles booked appointments and past clients. For starters I just want to say that when Nicole decided to leave Epitaph I wasnt given any notice, it was literally overnight. For reasons I still dont know she left without leaving paperwork, her schedule or even a hint of the appointments she had booked, I wasnt given any info about agreements she had with ...previous clients with regards to touch ups or deposits that had been made. So if you had an appointment with Nicole that was canceled due to the covid closure i would have no way of knowing unless you contact me. Of course I will honour deposits either by taking on the appointment myself or by refund but you will have to provide your appointment card showing the amount and date of your appointment. If you dont have the card theres nothing I can do. Second if Nicole offered you a touch up on a tattoo she did Im happy to do it but I will not be doing them for free, Nicole never finished her apprenticeship and was charging at a discount rate especially in the early days of her work, this means that I was taking a loss on every tattoo she did in order to create an environment for her to learn and progress, but it also means that if you were tattooed by her that there was an understanding that you were being tattooed by someone who was learning and the expectations should reflect that. Luckily the vast majority of work she produced was great and this is a non issue for most. I know that for those of you that are effected by this its frustrating, I know this because so many of you have decided to take your frustrations out on me over the last couple weeks, trust me its extremely frustrating for me as well and as always Im doing the best I can. I strongly dislike sharing info like this on a large scale, anyone who has followed me or the shop for any length of time will know that but I just dont see any other way to share this with those of you that need it. First day back after almost 3 months to the day since we closed, Ive never taken that much time off, glad to be working again!! -anthony

Hey everyone, so thankfully Hamilton and the surrounding area are moving into phase two this week, we like so many other shops have been preparing for this for months now and will be reopening as a private studio Friday. This means for now we wont be taking any walk ins, I wont be taking consultations for the time being and Ive decided to close my books until I can get caught up after having to displace more than 50 appointments over the last 3 months and being currently b...ooked until March of 2021 with no breaks between now and then. If you had an appointment that was canceled please keep an eye on your phone, starting tomorrow morning Ill be calling and attempting to rebook everyone that has been displaced by the shutdown. Hey everyone, Im sure were all tired of these posts already but I want to update clients and potential clients that weve decided to temporarily close Epitaph to the public and for now operate as a private studio. Meaning, if you currently have an appointment booked its still on as long as youre not sick and havent travelled out of Canada recently but you must come alone to help minimize risk. We will NOT be taking any walk ins or consultations until further notice, bookings can be made via email. If you do have an appointment we will be contacting you directly to check in and confirm any status changes. If you have any questions or concerns dont hesitate to email us.
