We are please to welcome Jenika to the EPM Dental Care team. She joins Brooke in looking after your oral care and professional cleanings. Jenika completed her dental hygiene degree from the University of Alberta. She looks forward to working with patients to achieve and maintain their oral health goals. She strives to provide a comfortable and knowledgeable experience. Growing up in Cold Lake, Alberta, Jenika loves the outdoors and an active lifestyle. She spends her free time travelling, hiking, swimming and cross-country skiing.

We are now able to resume regular dental services, including dental hygiene appointments. We are so excited to welcome you back to our clinic, and, as always, both your experience and your safety are going to be our highest priority. We have put together a full range of new and updated policies and practices to make sure that your health and comfort are protected at every point, including new requirements for personal protective equipment such as masks, pre-screening surveys, limited numbers in waiting areas, mandatory hand sanitizing, and more. There continues to be a serious shortage of PPE. Orders through Alberta Health Services have not been fulfilled. We are having daily communications with the major dental supply companies and are waiting for them to acquire authentic PPE for our use. The Alberta government has allowed the reopening of dental offices, however, we will only be addressing emergencies and urgent treatments until more authentic PPE is acquired. #staysafeeveryone

To our patients, We have all heard the announcement from the Premier that dental offices will be allowed to begin to reopen as of Monday May 4th. Please remember that at this time we are continuing to schedule emergent treatment as previously indicated. Our staff are trying to absorb this information and what this means for the clinic. There continues to be a shortage of PPE and before we open our doors again we would like to ensure that all of our patients and staff are protected, and this means waiting to see what the Alberta Dental Association and College has to say as well. Please respect that we are doing everything in our power to arrange a new normal for dental treatment and we will be updating you as we learn more.
