Be sure to recycle them at an Edmonton Eco Station after you’ve deleted your files and done a complete factory reset. Don’t forget to physically destroy the device’s SIM card, SD card, etc. if you’re not going to use them.

Today we take a moment to remember PSD Quanto. On the morning of Oct. 7, 2013, Quanto was deployed by his handler while they responded to a car chase through downtown Edmonton. Once the suspect fled the vehicle, Quanto caught up, but was repeatedly stabbed by the suspect. He fell to the ground and passed away. He was fearless in the fight and we will never forget his sacrifice. It was this incident that went on to inspire Quanto’s Law, an amendment to the Criminal Code to better protect law enforcement animals, military animals and service animals and to ensure that offenders who harm those animals or assault peace officers are held fully accountable.
