There isn’t much to say other than unprecedented! Unprecedented is word we hear often in these crazy times, it’s thrown around in conversations, on the news, ...on social media.... we are quickly coming to realize it is an exceptionally accurate expression. For the past 3 years, we have operated the Magic of Lights with tremendous success, welcoming over 25,000 vehicles annually. We started this holiday season anticipating a higher volume of vehicles; we never imagined over 2000 families would venture to our gates on any single evening. For those of you who have reached out with your frustrations, we hear you! It is NEVER our wish to disappoint our Guests, especially those too young to understand. We want each of you to know the challenges with the extraordinary volume of attendees on the weekends is not being disregarded or ignored. We take the matter seriously, and we are currently working on a plan we hope will offer a more promising experience moving forward. I have personally made an effort to address and respond to each person individually, THANK YOU for your suggestions and feedback. In all sincerity, we strive to continually grow and improve; this is best accomplished with constructive feedback from our community. There are multiple Magic of Lights venues throughout North America- each are experiencing the same overwhelming weekend traffic volumes. We will make a tremendous effort to better communicate with our Guests. For those of you who have reached out with accolades and words of encouragement- THANK YOU! You have no idea how greatly your words are appreciated. Bringing joy is our goal, especially considering these unprecedented times (that word again). We have welcomed over 18,000 families in our first 2 weeks, we are so pleased you are one of the many who have enjoyed. Like motorsports, my family and I have done this holiday thing to bring a small slice of joy to others; it truly breaks our hearts to consider it may do the exact opposite. Our Staff work long, relentless hours out in the cold winter nights- we are so very proud of each of them. Like you, they are adapting to the ‘new reality’ with generosity, understanding, and sometimes a little disenchantment. In the last couple months I have fallen off the grid where not many people really now where I have been or what I have been up too. There has been more rumors f...lying around than I could possible count and none of them true, To be honest they have hurt me more than anything. Many people probably don't know I have suffered for depression for most of my teenage/adult life. When my dad died I just bottled up all emotions related to it, so I wouldn't feel as much pain and heartache on loosing my best friend. A few months ago everything started to come to the surface on me and I fell into a very dark hole. I needed to take time away from work, friends and family. In order to rebuild myself as a person, I'm getting better each and every day. In this time me and jay have decided to make a huge decision with our lives. We decided to go on our own and honor dad in our own way. We decided to open a business. We have named in Randy's Classic Auto. In memory of dad. I will always support Pro Stock with whatever I can, that is something that my dad created and made great, Its now our time to shine and Give it a go to make him proud. See more

During the Covid-19 lockdown North American Powertrain Components ( NAPC ) offered free pick up and delivery in the community of your vehicle if you needed any ...mechanical work done. I was overwhelmed with the response and ended up picking up and fixing over 30 Terwillegar vehicles. We did everything from oil changes , tires, windshields , transmissions, Differentials , brakes and more. Fans, Racers, Mission Residents We Need Your Help! As many of you have seen or may have heard the city of mission has been proposing a "Waterfront Revitalizatio...n Plan" for a while now. This has been put out on social media as well their website and many other local news sources. We feel as though we have been kept in the dark on this plan and after meetings with the city and their Waterfront team we still have very little info and feel like we have not been included whatsoever in all the planning and future of the Mission Waterfront. It has been made fairly obvious by their Posts and plans they have no regard for the continuing operation of Mission Raceway and will be doing their very best to Force us out by building town homes and apartments directly beside the property. For many years we have been told that the Braich Family who owns the property beside us was in favor of the city’s plans for the waterfront leaving us with a tough situation to either fight back or accept the fate put in place by the city. After having a very extensive conversation with the Braich family and seeing the posts made by them on social media as well as the public hearing that they and the Martini Group spoke at we have learned that the Braich family is in fact against the city’s waterfront plans and have had a pending deal in place with the Martini group to develop their property into commercial buildings and warehouses for businesses such as Netflix and a window manufacturing business to operate out of along with many others. This would bring 2000+ jobs to the city of Mission along with large amounts of commercial tax dollars thus lessening the burden on residential taxes. This development would be majorly Beneficial for the city and would also work hand in hand with Mission Raceway allowing us to continue to operate for many years to come. The City of Mission however is not in favor of the Braich's Proposed development and have been fighting them for the previous 2 years making it difficult for them to move ahead. So needless to say WE DO NOT SUPPORT THE WATERFRONT PLANS! We are asking that all of our supporters reach out to the local counselors as well as SHARE SHARE SHARE and let our voices be heard. We will not go without a fight and after 40+ years of operation in the City of Mission we feel we should be given the respect to continue to operate for many more years!
