Police seek public's assistance identifying a robbery suspect For Immediate Release: 20-AUG-12 The Edmonton Police Service is asking the public for assistance i...n identifying a male subject who allegedly robbed a grocery store. The robbery occurred on Monday, 2020JUL20 at 8:26 pm. Divisional officers and Robbery Section Detectives responded to the report of a robbery at a grocery store in the area of 134 avenue and 66 street. It was reported to police that an unknown male entered the grocery store with a firearm. The male demands cash and then leaves the store in the vehicle shown. No injuries were reported from the robbery. **Update** Police are still seeking public's assistance identifying a robbery suspect For Immediate Release: 20-OCT-02 The Edmonton Police Service is asking the... public for assistance in identifying two male subjects who allegedly robbed a liquor store. The robbery occurred on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 3:24 pm. Divisional officers and Robbery Section Detectives responded to the report of a robbery at a liquor store in the area of 111 avenue and 96 street. It was reported to police that two unknown males entered the store and the first suspect points a firearm at the clerk while the second suspect takes alcohol off a shelf. Both suspects exit the store. No injuries were reported from the event. Police lay 65 charges in armed robbery For Immediate Release: 01-Oct-2020 @ 2:21 PM The Edmonton Police Service has arrested three male suspects after they alle...gedly robbed a hotel at gun point. It was reported that just before 1 a.m. on Sept. 28, 2020, three masked males entered a hotel in the area of 127 Avenue and 120 Street armed with bear spray and a semi-automatic rifle. Two of the males threatened the patrons and staff, while the third entered a secure area, threatening staff with the rifle and demanding cash. The males then fled in a vehicle with a large quantity of cash. Later that same morning, at approximately 4:45 a.m., patrol officers observed a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado being driven dangerously in the area of 129 Avenue and 113A Street. Police observed the vehicle from a distance until it parked in the area of 129 Avenue and 116 Street, at which time the occupants exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The driver was arrested after a short foot pursuit, while a canine track was used to locate two others hiding a short distance away. Detectives from the EPS Robbery Section determined these suspects were also suspects in the earlier robbery. Justin Sutherland, 33 Joshua Gauthier, 21 Josiah William Quinn, 27 Justin Sutherland, 33, Joshua Gauthier, 21, and Josiah William Quinn, 27, all known to reside in both Edmonton and Calgary, are charged with 65 offences, including one count each of robbery with a firearm and disguise with intent.
