Hi! My name is Morgan Baker and welcome to Equuleus Equine Therapy. Ever since I can remember I’ve been a horse crazy little kid. (I still ogle out the window of my car at horses in the fields hahaha). When I was 6, my parents bought me my first horse, Reno, who at the time was a 4 year old gelding. He taught me so much over the years, patience, trust, and a lot of perseverance (and how to give my mom heart attacks every time she saw me hit the ground) Throught the years of... junior high and highschool I spent a lot of time in the saddle, and when I wasn’t, I was doing something horse related. After I graduated I became stuck in slump of what to do and how to keep horses in my life, because as cheesy as it sounds, there’s nothing that makes me happier. I began looking into horse-related jobs, not really sure what I actually wanted, when I came across the ERT program at the Canadian Equine Therapy Institute. It was perfect, a career spent with the animals I love and helping these animals continue to be the best they could be. After much time spent trying to convince my mom that 1. Horse massage therapists actually exist and 2. I wasn’t going to die massaging horses, I became enrolled at the school. I am in currently in my second year out of 4, and just recently became certified as a equine massage therapist! I have over a thousand hours so far of training, and will continue to become certified in cranio-sacral work, osteopathy and chiropractics just to name a few! I hope that you stick around to see me progress to becoming a full remedial therapist over the next couple years! Please feel free to message me if you have any questions, or are wanting to book an appointment!
