A prayer chain has been started. Please take a moment and join in prayer... Heavenly Father, we lift up our hearts to you and ask for containment of the coronavirus, and that there will be no more deaths. We pray for You to give wisdom to local and world leaders and educational and medical professionals, as they all guide us through this crisis. We pray for our children and elderly, that God will calm their fears and protect them from harm. We pray for children out of school...children staying at home alone while parents work, children who won’t have enough to eat because they usually have free breakfast and lunch at school. We lift up parents who have no one to care for their children. We pray for those who are paid hourly wages and are told that they will not be working right now, so they will not have income. We pray for the homeless, as they have no place to quarantine themselves, and for those who are sick, that they will be able to have the needed medical attention and soon be well. We pray for ALL of our health care workers and first responders,and for those that work in hospitals and nursing homes that they will remain healthy, and be filled with strength and hope that will energize and sustain them through long hours and high stress environments. We pray for our friends and family, co-workers and neighbors that they will lean in and help each other, and know there is a God who loves us that will see us through this and more.
