Practice. 'It is not about results, results oriented world!' (I want to shout this out across the roof tops). It is about learning to love the journey no matter where you are at. Be honest, do you love your journey? If you do not, you are sabotaging yourself and remaining in a continuous negative feedback loop of 'same old'. This is what YOU continue to create when you focus on what you do not like. Evaluate your process - the journey, make it one you love. The 'mundane' part that leads to the excellent results. Make the mundane so palatable you begin to crave it. This will give you balance. If you have to do the dishes, learn to love doing the dishes, if you have to prospect or your business learn to make your farm your sanctuary, if you have to sleep get a Tempurpedic!

Mid photo shoot, Fergus photobombs me! So... a glammed up version of a real life experience... re-created. (Did you get all that?) Moving on...in real life I am a Momma, and a Performance coach, and a daughter, the list goes on - so in any moment my life consists of any version or rendition of: being on a call to NY, 15 or so people waiting for my next inspiring sentence (no pressure), and having to hastily dash out to wipe a dirty bum, in an attempt to smother the screams coming from the bathroom next to my office. How does a working Momma do this? You choose to have your cake and eat it too. You embrace humor and have gratitude for the littles in the first place. But the best tip - work on yourself! Getting on my mat really impacts my ability to respond and not react! Thanks again for teaching me my loves.

Move your body and expand your mind! It's true - I set a goal for being in a healthy body until the day I die. The strategy? Move my body everyday for at least 15 minutes min. Obviously most days I do more, but the least is 15 min on a rebounder, or on the rowing machine or a brisk walk. Move it or lose it. If you are stiff and static, your mind will act the same way. If you stretch your body and make it supple, the mind will follow suit! I want an open mind and a supple body. I want this so I can play with my grandkids and so that I have the capacity to keep learning. #bodymindawareness #moveitorloseit #excercise #agingmyway

Food is medicine. It absolutely does not have to taste like medicine. It is a matter of taking the time to learn how to make things that are healthy taste delicious. I like butter as much as the next gal, maybe more! But this is a crowd pleaser in our home Sunday morn... Turkey Sausage Hash (can be made vegan as well) - Turkey Sausage (grass fed antibiotic free - pan fried in water) - Potatoes (parboiled, pan fried to finish) - Carrots (Sh...reded) - Onions (Caramelized) - Feta - Red or Yellow Peppers - Homemade Guac to top (avocado, cilantro, tomato, salt and pepper, lemon and garlic - I do a rough chop and toss) - A sunny side egg to top - Sprouts or Pea Shoots to garnish & make fancy Super healthy and delicious.
