LOCAL BUSINESS FOCUS Cream Beanery Cafe Cream Beanery Cafe Mount Brydges... This family owned business, run by Kimberley & Victor, Kimberly’s mom Yvonne, and their daughter Marissa, was started in 2017 and now has two convenient locations - 825 Southdale Road West in London and 22469 Adelaide Road in Mount Brydges. Each time I have visited their locations, they have accomplished exactly what they set out to do in their mission statement - provide quality homemade food and beverages, using fresh ingredients from local and environmentally sustainable suppliers when possible, and to provide excellent customer service and a warm, friendly atmosphere. If you are a coffee connoisseur, you will have to try their pour over coffee bar, one of the few offered in Southwestern Ontario (at both locations). They grind fresh, use filtered water and manually pour your coffee on the spot. They also offer a variety of loose leaf tea, espressos, lattes, cappuccinos and much more! If you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, they make homemade gelato (Italian style ice cream) and sorbetto (dairy free), milkshakes and sundaes. Or enjoy one of their homemade soups or breakfast sandwiches. With gluten free, vegan and keto options there’s something here for everyone to enjoy!! While they’re not offering dine-in for the lockdown, you can schedule a pick up time for a variety of items!!

How exciting to receive this today!! I feel so honoured, I truly love this job! I love helping people find their dream home. I love helping people reach their real estate and financial goals through investing. I love teaching people about the market, and the process of buying and selling. I love strategizing, and figuring out how to compete in this crazy market!! But what I love THE MOST: the people I’ve gotten to meet along the way! I have had the privilege of working... with so many amazing people since starting this career, and developed some wonderful new friendships. Special shout out to these wonderful folks who have helped me so much along the way: Nadia Habib, Vito Campanale, Kevin Kingma, Gautam Khanna - Real Estate Sales Representative, Dean Soufan Real Estate Broker, Andrew Stinson, Kevin Kingma. And an extra special shout out to Sue Cates Century 21 First Canadian for taking me on as her ‘little grasshopper’!! Quitting my steady pay cheque, awesome benefits job and going into real estate full time was a huge leap of faith. But I’m so glad I did it!! Here’s to an an even better 2021!

LOCAL BUSINESS FOCUS The London Breastfeeding Boutique Angela opened The London Breastfeeding Boutique, a small local shop for breastfeeding parents, in June 2018. The boutique specializes in selling a wide range of styles and sizes of nursing bras as well as nursing apparel.... Now, in the lockdown, Angela operates the shop entirely online and offers 'virtual fittings' to her customers over Zoom. These virtual fitings are when she walks customers through taking their own measurements at home and answers any questions they have about the fit of the products at her boutique. While she's very much looking forward to when she can open back up for in-store shopping appointments, as being able to try before you buy is always better, at least she still has the ability to support new parents during a hugely transformative time in their lives - thanks to e-commerce and social media!

This made me giggle today! During negotiations on one of my listings, a buyer joked that they would up their offer to $X amount.... and throw in a case of beer. My seller said Make it Moosehead and it’s a deal. On their walk through today, the buyer followed through and left this behind! ... It made me laugh, but it really shows just how grateful these buyers are to have found such a great home for their family. I’m so happy for the seller and the buyer!!
