Eric's recovery Journey

Hey everyone, I need your help. As you all know Eric is not able to work full time yet while still recovering and it is very hard time financially for us. We are far behind in every area, mainly our mortgage. Can I ask you all to please share my personal business page and post to help drum up business for me. ... I am still working full time at the school but it is far from enough to make ends meet and feed the family. We cannot thank you enough in advance for your help. Well, Eric has been pretty good. Lots of ups and not so many downs. He heads to Vancouver again this week.. stay tuned to see what the doc has to say. Hes very nervous this time around. He really doesnt want his ring finger knuckle fused. It's not moving much. Hes gaining movement well, in his pinky finger and swelling is way down.

January Update: Eric has been healing nicely! Physio has started and it requires him to extend and stretch his remaining fingers. It causes a fair amount of pain. But no pain no gain right!? It is neat though, to watch the gain in movement in the fingers, being able to pick up tiny items such as a piece of paper or a can. You never really realize how much u need something until it is gone. ... Finding a job that he can do is extremely challenging. We are still struggling a lot in the financial world due to not having his income. CPP disability paperwork is done and will take months to come they say. But it's a process and it will come. Until then I am doing what I can and staying busy working to try and make up for the loss. My own health has not been ideal either as many of you know, between my kidneys and thyroid troubles, but it has to be done. I am not sure that " give up" is part of my vocabulary lol His next appointment in Vancouver won't be until march, so until then he just keeps up the physio under the guidance of physiotherapists here. So for now it's still brave faces, a few tears and keep on truckin! We do not forget those who helped us and continue to do so. You know who you are and THANK you is not nearly enough Jody
