It's true that you get out what you put in. If you want a robust immune system and optimal brain functionality, food variety is key. We all fall into food ruts and easy meal habits. Try one new fruit or vegetable every time you go to the store. Not only will your body thank you, your mind might expand too.

Use breakfast as an opportunity for dense nutrition. If you’re used to eating nutrient poor cereal try this simple hack and notice how you feel. You might have more energy, elevated mood, better bowel function, decreased inflammation, and feel full until lunchtime. Cut up a piece of fruit and top it with seeds, fresh ginger and a little something fermented. ... Check out the comments for details on everything I added to my bowl today.

Do you tire of coming up with ways incorporate left overs and bone broth into simple meals? Maybe it’s hard to get or remember to use bones. Keep a bag in your freezer that you add the bones to from roasted poultry, beef, lamb or pork.... This morning I emptied a chicken bone bag into my instant pot with some herbs, pink salt and a splash of Appel cider vinegar and filled to the max line with water. 240 minutes later I had enough broth for tonight’s pot and 2 quarts for the fridge. I brought the bone broth up to a boil in a big pot on the stove. Added julienned yam, sliced leek, enoki mushrooms, spaghetti squash, shredded leftover chicken thighs and returned it to boil. Done Served with kimchi and fresh cilantro. #eatrealfood #fridgecleanout #soup #noodlefreenoodles #eatyourvegetables #nourish #kitchenhelper #letmeinspireyou #nothingwasted See more
