Still in a Vietnam mood! I love the simplicity of this silhouette and remember this moment very fondly. I had been wandering through a small village and could see the sunset was going to be pretty special behind some anchored fishing boats (that photo coming soon) so I hung out at little restaurant having some beers and trying to chat with the locals (this was not a village set up for tourists so nobody knew much English) and watched people coming and going. Such a great mom...ent. I first saw a photograph of this sculpture many years ago on Flickr and dreamed of one day seeing it, but didn't know what it was or where. A few weeks ago I was visiting Munich for a concert and discovered it was 500m away from the hotel we were staying at! Dreams do come true!
