Please fill up your vehicles on September 17 which is Fuel Good Day. The museum will receive a percentage of the sales. There will be a BBQ in Eriksdale that day as well. Location yet to be determined.
We are now open for the summer and these two fine young gentleman are anxious to give you a tour of the museum. They have worked hard reviewing the information on each area of the museum and are looking forward to folks coming down so they can practice what they have studied. Please consider dropping by the museum to visit with Jesse and Devon.
Thank you to Eriksdale Creamery Museum for the tour today, I think I can speak for us all and say we had a very nice time and enjoyed our visit! Every one should take some time and go visit the Creamery this summer!
Hello everyone, We wanted to let everyone know that the Museum will be open for the summer starting July 2nd. The hours will be from 9 am till 4 pm Monday thru Saturday. We have hired two young gentlemen, Devon and Jesse, who would be happy to guide you thru the museum and answer any questions that you may have. Be sure to visit both buildings. In the building which houses our office area there are numerous artifacts and memorabilia for your viewing pleasure. Also available... is an assortment of information pamphlets regarding various Interlake spots of interest. You will also find a quilt display and souvenirs for sale (pins, fridge magnets, postcards, coloring books and a limited number of T-shirts). There are also history books available for purchase. When visiting the museum please be sure to sign our guest sheets each time you visit. This helps us towards receiving our operating grants each year. Admission to the museum is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 10 (accompanied by an adult). For those who have already purchased their $10.00 annual membership, we Thank You and encourage you to visit the museum as often as you like this summer free of charge. Please feel free to share this post to spread the news.

There are a lot of hidden treasures for you to enjoy. ... For anyone who would still like to purchase a membership please send us a message . Thank you From the Museum Board
Why become a museum member on membership day? One of the key elements in being successful in obtaining our operating grant is based on the number of folks who purchase a membership. By purchasing a membership you are showing that there is interest and support for the Eriksdale Museum. Plus when you purchase your $10 membership tomorrow you can enjoy a free hamburger or hotdog, salad, beverage and cookie. Once you have purchased your membership you can visit the museum as m...any times as you wish over the summer. Please share this post so everyone knows it is the museums annual membership day tomorrow. If you would like to purchase a membership but can’t attend tomorrow, you can message us and we can make it happen. Thanks for reading and sharing. See more

Welcome to the Eriksdale Creamery Museum Facebook page. The former Eriksdale Creamery was constructed around 1912, in the village of Eriksdale in the Rural Municipality of Eriksdale, by the Brandon Creamery and Supply Company. The building was of standard wood-frame construction and, like many early creameries, it was expanded several times as increased production required. The core of the operation was the main room where the weighing, grading and churning of the cream took ...place. In later years, the operation became largely a butter-finishing, then a butter-cutting business. The Eriksdale Creamery ceased operation permanently in 1990. In 1995, a volunteer museum group was established to acquire and restore the facility to preserve and commemorate this once significant aspect of rural life in Manitoba. The building is a municipally designated historic site. The museum also includes a former Anglican Church building. The Eriksdale Creamery Museum is the only creamery museum in Manitoba showcasing the functions and equipment of butter making in rural Manitoba. We are open June through to August and welcome all to come visit us and take a stroll back in time. In June and September we are open Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-4 or by appointment In July and August we are open 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday to Saturday. Guided tours available Monday to Saturday or by appointment. Donations graciously accepted. Like and follow this page as we take you back in history with our future posts of photos and information. Please share our page.
