I’m sitting here this morning, like every morning reflecting what I am grateful for. This man, my Murray, comes up in my gratitudes every single day. If you are one of the lucky ones who have spent any time with him, you know what I mean! ... His presence is comforting and lifting! And as my partner, he is everything I could ask for! I didn’t choose the safe career path, and jumped into entrepreneurship. Regardless he has always been supportive and encouraging of my choices. I appreciate that as we learn more about ourselves independently, we pivot, embrace, and grow together. He has taught me to believe in partnership. I was chatting with a friend the other day... I had asked her to join me in a workshop my mindset coach put on in September about goal setting. Throughout the 4 day workshop she remembered a dream she had for herself that she had stuffed away many years ago.... How many of us have done that? We let logic, others opinions, fear or hurdles get in our way! Within the walls of this safe space she was able to let go of the past shame, and guilt for not pursuing that dream. She allowed herself to desire her dream once again, and imagine what it would be like if she achieved that goal. She fell in love with that dream again. And because of that she put steps in motion. I can't wait to see where she goes from here! I am so forever grateful for stories such as this one! It shows how powerful and impacting sharing can be.
