As everyone is aware, our province is heading towards a strict lock down Dec 26th. Regulated health care professionals (chiropractors, dentists, massage therapists, ophthalmologists, physical and occupational therapists, podiatrists) are allowed to operate under the provincial framework. As of right now I am remaining open and will continue to monitor how we are doing in our community. All pre-booked appointments remain. Please contact me any time if you are uncomfortable keeping your appointment. My availability is subject to change, and at any given time I may choose to cancel and reschedule at a later date. A gentle reminder for everyone that I have a 24 cancellation policy. I have been extremely forgiving but moving forward this policy is in place to protect my time, and how I accommodate everyone. Appointments will be charged in full for no shows and cancellations less than 24 hours in advance.

Hi everyone, I am excited to announce I'm open for appointments as of this week. I have been working my way through my list of anyone who has reached out to me for appointments over the last couple months. Please be patient if you haven't heard from me yet. It's a slow re-opening, with less clients per day for now. I'm announcing I have a NEW new location to re-open my practice. I had to abandon previous plans but I'm happy to have a new office space to prepare for my opening. It's getting a little face-lift and soon I'll be contacting anyone who has reached out for a massage appointment. The list is long and I will do everything I can to accommodate everyone as I always do. You're all my favourites but please keep in mind I have to lessen my treatments load per day as I ease back into practice. I can't wait to get back to work and seeing you all again! I would like to clarify as much as I can about the announcement made and how it pertains to my own Massage Therapy practice. On Wednesday, May 27th the Ontario Government and the Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health have provided a new directive for Regulated Health Care Professionals (RHCP) that allow for a gradual restart of services to be carried out with adherence to guidance from each health profession’s regulatory college. The directive includes Registered Massage Th...erapists (RMTs) under the guidance of our College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). This announcement was a general statement meaning not all RHCP will be opening at the same time or at the same rate (or at all, for now). My priority as an RMT is to ensure that the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks. RMTs have received direction on practice and procedure guidelines that will need to be put in place before a safe re-opening. These include, but are not limited to: pre-screening upon booking and time of treatment. continuing to practice proper hand hygiene. more time between appointments for cleaning and disinfecting. documentation and record keeping of new practice measures. the use of disposable medical masks for RMT. the use of disposable or cloth masks for client. eliminating from the treatment room any objects and equipment that aren't necessary for treatment. replacing necessary equipment to create the safest space possible. not having an overlap of clients in my clinical space. I will not be accepting same day / last minute appointments or any online bookings until further notice. All appointments must be schedule ahead by texting or calling me at 226-349-1511 so proper screening can be done. The health & safety of every one of my clients, my family and friends, and myself is top priority. I will return to practice when I feel it safe to do so and when I'm confident and have everything organized and in place. Thank you again for all of your support and patience! Exciting news! It has been announced RHCPs can return to work in Ontario. This means a lot of new protocol and guidelines to implement for health and safety measures. I'm also moving to a new office. We are required to open slowly and cautiously. Once I feel comfortable and have met all standards put out by The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, I will announce my opening date. Online booking will remain closed until further notice. I'm so happy to be able to provide treatments again soon and to see everyone again! Stay tuned for more info as I prepare my re-opening. So many of you have checked in with me and it brightens my isolating days so much! Words can not describe how much I miss you guys. I wanted to reach out to all of you and express my gratitude and appreciation for your continued support. It has been heartwarming to get a phone call, text message, treats at my door, support from other small businesses... I am feeling the love and sending it back out to all of you. As of Monday March 16th, I made the decision to close my practice until further notice due to the increased concerns over Covid-19.
