Hey community! Feeling a lot of feels? Whether it's holiday, pandemic, winter, or just life related...I hear you and I feel you! Allowing feelings and emotions to arise and allowing yourself the space to embody what is can be liberating and healing in itself. ... Here's a long but helpful resource. Choose one bit from the article and focus your attention there and only there. Go slow over the next few weeks and rest as much as possible! (I'm also sharing this here as a gentle reminder to myself to chill out :)) https://demetranyx.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-processing-em/

You may or may not know my love for a well organized schedule. Over the years, I've gone back and forth between a loosey goosey calendary and rigid, anxiety-provoking time blocking every minute of the day. I'm somewhere in the intentional middle now ;) I now see time management as a tool to respect my time, others time, to feel excited and in control of my to-do's, and honestly, to support my nervous system (i.e. stress management). Taking care of yourself physically and mentally is definitely not just about eating your vegetables! My favourite tip in here is to bookend work sessions with necessary tasks (interpret as you'd like). For example, I like to water my garden, make a snack, or call a friend in between work periods. Hope this helps! https://pulseblueprint.com//5-tips-for-better-time-manage/

Are you feeling burnnnnt out and fried? It may be because you are saying YES to too much (read: facetime and zoom chats!). Consider this: are you operating from a scarcity mindset or from a place of intention and (self) care? Remember health is holistic and stretches beyond food or exercise or good sleep. This article helps to articulate this https://radreads.co/how-to-say-no/ #nofeelsgood #numerouno #holistichealth

What small things can you do to bring ease into your life, right here and right now? . This has been my daily question for almost 3 weeks now. For me, I’m finding kitchen time to be therapeutic. From shopping in my own pantry, to prepping and cooking, to mindfully washing the dishes. It’s been a chance to s l o w tf down and recalibrate my nervous system. Even if it’s temporary, I feel a sense of a calm and I’m very much into finding that sense of calm right now! . So I’ll re...peat, what can you do to bring ease into your life in this very moment? . Here’s the Blueberry Crisp I shared on my live yesterday. You probably have the ingredients at home . 2.5 cups frozen berries 1 tsp potato starch 1 tsp cinnamon Mix together and place in a baking dish 1 cup oats 1/2 cup almond meal 1/4 cup crush almonds 1/4 cup coconut sugar 3 tbsp coconut oil pinch of salt Mix together until combined. Add atop the berry mixture. Bake at 350 for 30 min. Voila. Breakfast, snack, dessert. You choose. Enjoy it on its own, with yogurt, ice cream, or nice cream. I’ve also put together a beautiful meal plan I’ve called Stuff You Have At Home - Pantry Edition. It’s exactly what it sounds like. I’ve got you! 22 pages of kitchen tips and delicious and darn easy recipes (with photos). Mostly everything used are non-perishables (with the option of additions) so you likely have the ingredients already. Find it on my website. Link in bio. Ps it’s 50% off right now. See more

Traditional Medicine is so darn fascinating! The connection between the emotional body and the physical body is becoming more and more undeniable. Even in allopathic medicine! For example - those confronted with anxiety often have digestive issues like IBS. These centuries-old approaches make me feel so much more connected to my health and the health of those I support. Have you been able to draw conclusions about your own health between what you're thinking and what you're ...feeling? Here's an easy to digest look at this foundational and truly holistic approach: https://www.sakara.com//116573893-the-root-of-emotional-im

With New Years around the corner, it is a wonderful time to remember you are perfect just as you are. Rather than focusing on the lack or struggles, trick your brain wth these straight-forward tips. 1) focus on an area of neutrality in your body or in your life 2) pay attention to what makes you feel good (and proud!) and 3) do things you love - either alone or with others. Sending everyone lots of love for 2020! https://www.healthstandnutrition.com/body-confidence/

Just going to leave this right now. Fascinating! Hot tip: take 5 minutes to write down what you think is involved in healthy bed time hygiene. And then practice it! Even one item on the list is great. Some healthy ideas: reading, sipping tea, meditation, sex, journalling, puzzles, gentle stretching. What did I miss? (screens and bright lights need not apply ;) )... https://www.sciencedaily.com/releas/2019//190530141443.htm
