UPDATE: Thank you all for your patience and support over the past few months! At this time some of you may have already been made aware that the Ministry of Health is allowing Health Care Professionals to gradually return to reopening. The College of Massage Therapist’s of Ontario also states that; Massage Therapists can gradually restart practice, prioritizing clients with more serious needs and limiting the number of in-person visits. Just as a heads up, your last massage ...treatment will be a little different than your next one. - RMTs are currently required to wear a surgical mask during all treatments and interactions. - Patients are also required to bring and wear a clean mask (cloth or surgical) to the clinic and for the duration of the appointment. This is very important as we take keeping all our patients and staff as safe as possible very seriously. If a client cannot wear a mask due to health reasons - the RMT will assess the risks of providing treatment. - There will be additional screening for each appointment to ensure the safety of anyone that enters the clinic space. We have to consider protecting the most at-risk individuals who entrust us with their care. While this is exciting news, please remain patient as these requirements we very recently announced and implementation of these guidelines, obtaining sufficient PPE, and completion of additional training will take some time. The health & safety of myself, my family, coworkers, and all of my patients is top priority. So I will be back to work as soon as it is safely possible.
