"I want to be a dance explorer!" I heard this tonight from my office as some of our young dancers left the building after their class. Their enthusiasm and excitement about dance and being back in class with the teacher they love brought a smile to my face and joy to my heart! This young dancer told her friend that she wants to take ballet, jazz, flamenco, and hip hop . . . the list went on, and I was overjoyed by her excitement, enthusiasm, and youthful exuberance. I am... also a dance explorer, but I have lost a bit of that feeling of magic over the last year. Allison has a wealth of knowledge in dance and acro, has been teaching for the last 10 years and is one of the best Acro instructors in the city. We are thrilled to have her join our staff. Allison will be teaching on going group, privates and semi private classes on Monday nights for t...he rest of the year. Attending the workshop will help us place students into classes and will introduce your dancer to Acro if you want to see what this class is all about. Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements.
