Happy first Day of fall. Hard to believe we are into fall already. I have hope everyone had a fantastic summer. We sure did spending lots of time up at our lake. Just wanted to make a couple of announcements, First I just want to thank all of you for your support, patience and understanding you all have shown me with starting the salon back up in our new norm. I found it to go and is going quite smoothly. I hope you all feel the same way . Masks during appts and hand sani...tization upon arrival will remain mandatory. Your well being is alway foremost in my mind . Second, as most of you know I do have a second job with the health region so alternate the salon with that job. On my days I work at the health region I will not be booking appointments in the salon in the evenings. Evening appoints with be booked on my days I am in the salon. I recommend prebooking all your appointments but especially for those of you that are needing an evening appointment. And lastly, as of October 1 the prices in the salon will increase by 10% officially. My intentions were to raise them in September but it didn’t happen. I just want you all to know how much I appreciate you all. Thank you for trusting me and choosing me for your hair care needs. I love what I do and it just makes it even more enjoyable to have such a wonder group of people I can call my clients! Sincerely, Jo-Lynn

Well I made it through the first day back. It was awesome and feels great to be back. I really enjoyed connecting and catching up with you all. Looking forward to Day 2 .

Happy Sunday Escape Hair Studio Clients. I have been thinking long and hard about how the re-open of the salon is going to look. Most importantly how am I going to do it safely. I want to ensure the safety of my clients. So here are some strategies I have come with: 1. Everyone coming into the salon will be screened. If they answer yes to any of the following questions, I will ask them to reschedule. 1. Do you have any of the following symptoms:... -Cough,sore throat,fever,trouble breathing 2.Have you been outside of Canada or Saskatchewan in the past 14 days. 3. Have you been in close contact with a positive case or a probable case of Covid 19. 2. Clients will be asked to wear masks during their service. I will provide homemade cloth masks that secure around the ear available if they do not have their own. (which will be washed in between on Sanitation washing cycle). 3. Clients will be asked to hand satirize upon arrival and when leaving. 4. I will be asking client to wait in their car and text me when they have arrived. I will text them when I am ready for them.This will give me time between clients to clean and set up for next client. 5.Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment The salon will reopen May 19 if all goes well and all my PPE arrives in time.
