Hello everyone! This photo was taken last week when I couldn't find my corkscrew. You can also place the bottle in a boot and smack it against a hard surface several times (yes it works!) but it was definitely not the time to be disturbing my roommates. I really wanted my wine so when there's a will, there's a way! This situation made me think of these crazy times we're in. I hope everyone is making the best of their current situation. Sometimes that means we have to change and adapt to keep on pressing forward. It's probably still a long road before things get back to semi-normal but don't give up! Hang in there! Incredible times we're living in. Escape Ops along with many other businesses have been closed and many people have lost their jobs. Hope everyone is enjoying the slightly warmer weather! Finally gained some momentum on our latest project and wanted to share this old pic. The first picture was taken several months ago (around July I believe) when trying to design and build a special lock mechanism for our latest project. The second picture is one of the many prototypes made since then and we honestly felt we had it figured out. It is now February and this special mechanism continues to be redesigned and im...proved. So much time has be allotted to this one element but it is important for us to get it right. Looking at the hours spent I quickly thought it was "wasted". It was only when I took a bit more time to reflect I noticed my build and design skills have improved every time I went back to the drawing board. Keep chipping away at that passion project. Every "failure" is a learning opportunity, keep trying and keep learning! Valentine's day is upon us!
