When 15 year-old Georgian Peaks athlete Duncan Armstrong realized that the Beaver Valley Outreach was missing out on key funding opportunities due to COVID-19, he organized the "BVO Challenge" and invited other Georgian Peaks athletes to participate in physical activities -- together, this group of teens raised nearly $24k for the non-profit organization.

On Thursday September 19, 2019, 26 women gathered at the Collingwood Regional Airport for the departure of the East Canada Section of The 99s Annual Gold Cup Air Rally (GCAR).
