We’re celebrating everything #vancouverisland this long weekend! We know for many of us the Easter long weekend marks the beginning of camping, island exploring and welcoming out of town visitors to the region. Since friends and family can’t safely visit right now, send the island to them! #esquimalt #vancouverisland #yyj #victoriabc #victoriabccanada #westcoast #pacificnorthwest #canada #tourismbc

Love 'em or hate 'em, these pesky creatures are sure stunning in Claire Gaulin-Brown Art’s Artifact. This print is a beautiful tribute to the season. The details on this archival quality, giclee fine art print are really something! The print is 11" x 14" and $60.00 in the ECAH gift shop. We only have 2 of them in stock and they are part of a limited series of 50. If you're thinking of an Easter gift or looking towards Mother's Day, these prints are a thoughtful and creative... idea! The gallery is open today until 5pm at 901 Esquimalt Road (right at the intersection of Head Street and Esquimalt Road). We're getting so excited to launch Relations | Island - Art Exhibit with presenting sponsor Holly Courtright - Real Estate Advisor! Nestled within the Island exhibit is Jordan Fritz's Resilience Series. A set of 6 hauntingly beautiful landscapes that draw us in with their majesty, but also force us away when we consider some of the realities around the uncertain future of these natural areas. "It is cautious light, that leaves me with only feelings. Feelings of appreciation... and gratitude for the life that stands ahead, but fearful and worried for the darkness that sits behind." (Artist quote from Illuminating Darkness) Jordan's work is accompanied by writing from journal entries, stream of consciousness and poetic musing. Thanks to Holly's support we are able to present a fully immersive 3-D experience online, so those who are isolating at home can still participate in viewing the exhibit. Visit https://www.ecah.ca/relations-island for more details and to sign up to receive updates on the exhibit launch. #esquimalt #artinesquimalt #yyjarts #landscape #canadianart #yyjartist #westcoast #resilience #tourismvictoria #thingstodovictoria
