It is officially Official... we want to welcome the newest addition to our home office, LOU! He is a pretty chill, almost 2 yr old labradoodle that we have the privilege of adopting. He is hypoallergenic and is being trained to remain upstairs while I have clients in the office. He does have a deep bark but has only voiced himself a few times in the week he’s been with us. For those who didn’t hear, there were announcements made today from our AB government regarding massage therapy being allowed to resume. We are still waiting to hear from our governing bodies as to what that means and new policies that may need to be enacted including a required referral or prescription. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Face masks will now be mandatory in our office. The City of GP has passed a new bylaw requiring masks in all indoor public places. I understand that although Our office is in a private home, on private property, we are publicly licensed through the City of GP and therefore must abide by the rules in place for public places of service. Please arrive to your appointment wearing your mask. If you do not have one, we will supply you with one upon arrival.... Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions or concerns. Although the City of Grande Prairie C-1426 Mandatory Face Covering Bylaw is in effect, there are still exemptions. Under the Alberta Humans Rights Act, we are unable to ask for proof of exemption. However, we will have a "C-1426 Bylaw Exemption Waiver" you must fill out when stating your refusal due to an exemption, although you do not need to declare what that exemption may be. Thank you everyone for your patience as we work to catch up with our communications and bookings for next week and beyond! Please note that some appointment fees have been adjusted to accommodate the extra time required now between appointments in addition to the extra Personal Protective Equipment required. These fees are listed under the SERVICES tab and I’m sure you’ll find them still to be in line (if not still under) the standard for massage practices. 60 minute appointments will remain $75 for the time being As I work through booking each of you in, my anticipation of getting back to work grows and I can’t wait to see you all again soon!
