Nothing should be left behind in a Conservation Area! Please refrain from hanging items in trees when visiting conservation areas, as this can impact tree health. Painted rocks can leach into our streams and rivers. Wildlife should not be fed. While seemingly an act of kindness, these actions can poison wildlife and damage ecosystem balance. Be kind - leave natural areas natural!

Today is #WorldHabitatDay We are committed and dedicated to protecting the Essex Region Watershed's natural habitat, helping to ensure that the #PlaceforLife remains an amazing place to to live, work and play. Last year with your help, we planted almost 60,000 trees, creating an additional 35 acres of new forest habitat!
