Bathroom tiling is not in our usual repertoire, but we're getting called on for more general labour these days. Related to the job market shortage? Who knows. We've certainly had trouble recruiting lately.

Drip hose, drip hose, everywhere is drip hose. Drip hose, drip hose, drip drip fun. (To the tune of "Fish Heads" by Barnes & Barnes).

Hiring time. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/lab/6585868475.html We've gone through a gamut of different backgrounds in employees, and none of them have proven to dictate the qualities exhibited while hurriedly picking weeds all day in the rain. Perhaps because we have yet to hire someone with a background in hurriedly picking weeds all day in the rain. Which may have to do with no one wanting that job twice. Oh well.

Power raking for moss removal lately. Lots of confusion on the topic with both home owners and landscapers; lots of information on the internet regarding locales that don't have our tendency for moss (love our temperate rainforest). My key takeaway is that if you're power raking for moss (not technically dethatching, though often conflated with it), you're going to be removing a great volume of material and getting a lot of bare dirt back. One sweaty job, too. The photo shows the moss from a roughly 100x100' area on the fourth pass (that is, the moss from passes one to three was already cleared away). On the fifth pass we got nearly as much again, and on it goes.
