Here’s the news you’ve all been waiting for... Registration for NEW students opens today! Classes will be held in person and will begin the week of October 4th. A post will be made in a few hours with a link to our registration form. Returning students: if you haven’t registered yet, please do so ASAP as classes will fill up quickly! ... Here is the new schedule: 3/4: 3 years old as of Dec 31 Pre-Junior: 5 years old as of Dec 31 Junior: 7 years old as of Dec 31 Pre-Inter: 9 years old as of Dec 31 Intermediate: 11 years old as of Dec 31 Senior: 14 years old as of Dec 31 Boys Hip Hop: 7 years old as of Dec 31

Great news everyone! We have arranged a time and place to perform our 2020 recital routines. We are able to use Church of God to hold a few weeks of rehearsals in September before recording them. While we are unable to have an audience, we will be having each routine recorded on September 26th and 27th. DVD copies of the full recital will be provided. Complete details (including our social distancing measures and rehearsal dates and times) will be sent out through Remind soo...n. To our ERDC families, Thank you for your patience and understanding as COVID-19 continues to impact our dance studio. We have been following provincial developments through the pandemic. Many of our parents and dancers have reached out with questions regarding the 2020 ERDC dance recital and the upcoming 2020-21 dance season. We are developing a plan to safely provide a recital experience for all our dancers. As Saskatchewan reopens, we hope to film a recital video in the u...pcoming months. As for our 2020-21 dance season, we are still considering a variety of options for the safety of our instructors, students, and families. We will be offering a 2020-21 season in some capacity. Hey everyone! Hope you are safe and healthy, I’ve been thinking about all of you lots Two of our ERDC dancers, Brooke and her daughter Brynn, are a part of the 100 Kids Who Care group here in Estevan. Their goal is to raise money local charities and non-profits here in our community. They are planning a virtual meet-up for this Thursday, March 26. ERDC Dance Parents, I have had a large amount of orders come in within the last 2 days so I have decided to put print orders in THURSDAY. If you would like your prints sooner than later, please go on the site and put in your order by 5pm Thursday More orders will go in April!

As we continue to monitor developments surrounding COVID-19, we have decided to POSTPONE our 2020 Dance Recitals. We will continue to monitor the situation and will reschedule at an appropriate date. More details to come. Thank you for your understanding.

We would like to touch base with everyone on the topic of the COVID-19 virus, in particular with some events around the world being cancelled. Safety is of course paramount, but any situation must be tempered by a look at a complete picture. Discussions have taken place and after careful consideration, we have decided to proceed with all dance recital functions as originally planned. As at any time, please practice your normal precautionary hygiene practices of proper hand washing, sneezing/coughing into elbow, etc.

It’s almost time again! ERDC’s fourth annual recital is coming up quick! Our dancers have worked super hard all season and we can’t wait to put on a show for the community! Share with your friends and family and spread the word!

I remember going en pointe for the first time and feeling embarrassed about looming over everyone at the barre. I’m 6 feet tall standing in my bare feet and those extra four or five inches made me feel so uncomfortable. I was lucky to have an amazing dance crew that never made me feel less-than for how my body is built. Dance is for everyone. Thanks Miss Brooke for tagging me in this! - Love, Ms Victoria

Meet the Assistants: Miss Kendra 1. What do you love most about dancing at ERDC? I love seeing everyone express themselves in their own way and watching all of the younger dancers grow.... 2. What is your favourite style of dance? It’s very hard to choose. I love the high energy with hip hop and jazz, but I also enjoy telling stories through contemporary. 3. What is one goal you have for this dance season? I’d love to see myself expand my tap skills because I am very new to that style. 4. What is one piece of advice you have for the younger dancers? Never give up. If you keep working hard towards your goals it will feel so rewarding in the end. Also remember to have fun!
