WARNING: Real talk ahead...and my heart is racing as I write this I’m not about to sit here and tell you it’s all smooth sailing while running a business... I like to be straight up with you guys and call it how it is. The last few weeks have been really hard. I like to look at it as bumps in the road while doing my best to navigate. ... There’s been a lot of nerves, tears, anxiety, more tears and stress. I’ve had a few different things come up recently, and have had some negativity expressed towards me personally. I’ve been struggling on how to go about this and whether to even share this or keep it to myself. I’m not here asking for sympathy, but simply here to express that there are times when I hit some bumps in the road and lose sleep...but what I feel I HAVE to share with you is... The part that keeps me going is simply...YOU! And the fact that I know how HAPPY my photos make people. Being a Wedding Photographer provides me with a very deep level of joy that I can’t even put into words. I love providing a JOYFUL experience, and creating memories that last a lifetime. Even though it comes with the good, the bad and the ugly. I’m here for it and most importantly I’m here for you and documenting your story Thanks for being here on my journey and for all your positivity that radiates to me on the daily! If I’m being 100% honest. I am THE PICKIEST person in the world when it comes to photos of myself. . I want photos that feel like me and don’t seem forced! I’m hard to please when it comes to photos of me and I’m fully aware of that fact. . I’m happy to say that when I saw this photo that Danae took, I was OVER THE MOON!!! Working with bridal parties is one of my favourite parts of the day! It includes taking charge and being a little bit bossy. I try to not let the power go to my head, but honestly I love telling people what to do and where to go Somehow I’ve been blessed with the most amazing bridal parties, but my couples ROCK, so their closest peeps are bound to be super fun humans

CONFESSION TIME! I do not share many reception photos and honestly I don’t have a concrete reason why! I am always talking about how much I love photos where you can FEEL the joy within that moment. I think that reception photos are often some of the photos where you can feel the most joy! I am an absolute sucker for dreamy portraits, but I’ve made it a goal to share more from reception Sooooo....you guys need to keep me accountable to sharing more photos from receptions!! Ever thought about eloping?! I must say I LOVE big Weddings, but there’s something real special about an intimate elopement! (An added bonus is that it is stress-free for you) I’ve got some super special elopements booked for 2021 and each of them are always so unique! 2021 is going to be a heck of a year!!!! I’m so excited
