My skin is not doing well...but I’m working to get it back! I’m not gonna lie, since the beginning of the second lockdown I began to neglect my personal care which includes my skin care. When you’re stuck inside it can be hard to find the motivation to get up and get ready because what are you getting ready for? I’m sure I’m not the only one that has felt this way. Since I have stopped taking care of my skin I have been having lots of breakouts and with the winter weather m...y skin has become super reactive! Let’s not even mention the bags under my eyes...LOL. I wanted to make this post to show those that are feeling the same way that you aren’t alone. This is one of the hardest things we have to go through and it is okay to want to stay in bed all day and be lazy! But with that being said, it doesn’t mean we should stop taking care of ourselves. I guess the point of this post was to let everyone know that right now no one expects you to be perfect, but please take care of yourselves! I for one am really going to make the effort to get myself (and my skin) back on track! I know this may not seem like a big deal to a lot of people, but as an Esthetician that preaches self care to clients I need to be able to hold my self accountable for my own self care. Take the time you have now to get yourself to where you want to be, who knows when we’ll have time like this again.
