Holy moly ive been slacking on posting! Heres what ive been working on for the last 2 weeks. A small roof to cover part of this deck. The clients wanted a sheltered area to enjoy their view and be protected from the scorching sun and bugs. It will be screened in at a later date. I will get a couple photos once its all finished and outfitted with furniture.

Good morning! The bed is delivered and set up! I am so happy with the way this project turned out. So is Christina! And thats what really matters Tons of space in the drawers. I emptied my entire dresser into one drawer. Dividers keeps it all organized. I need to built over sized side tables now with will act as a dresser of sorts on each side. Oh, and a large pullout drawer for the center of the base.

Stepping back a few years. I believe we built this house 2009. I was working for my Dads company, Kootenay Builders, at the time. The clients were amazing to work for. They allowed me the opportunity to build this raise bar in the kitchen. Materials are VG douglas fir with black walnut inlay on the edge. I finished the counter with polyurethane. The live edge bench is in the basement mud room.

This bed is almost finished. Just need to build the drawer boxes. Im very happy with the way the finish turned out here!
