Our hearts are broken over the clear injustice seen across our continent in the last week. Not once did Jesus ever hurt or sin against anyone and yet He took on the responsibility and punishment of those who did, dying on the cross so that the broken would be healed, the oppressed would find refuge, and that slaves would be set free. We want to follow in His footsteps. I am convicted of the many time I’ve neglected to pick up my cross & follow Jesus regarding issues of raci...sm & inequality, using the excuse that 'I wasn’t a part of the problem and therefore could not lend my voice to the solution'. Jesus was never a part of the problem, but He became the ultimate solution. Tonight we’re praying for our black brothers and sisters. We’re praying for healing, for justice, and for true resurrection power that brings life and light to the darkest of situations. We love you and we’re with you. E+C 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
