I've started adding more turmeric into my diet lately. I drank a turmeric chai the other day, and felt a noticeable lift in my mind and heart. And then I remembered that there have been many studies lately linking turmeric to the treatment of depression. Of course, as I know from very personal experience, depression is an extremely challenging illness which no one thing "treats" - but many things can help manage it. Tonight, I added a spoonful of turmeric to my Ashwaganda almond milk drink.
