He lived during times when most people nowadays would never call themselves Christians as the faithful were persecuted ,killed,imprisoned for their Christian faith and they were despised for doing good, preaching love, peace and unity of all humanity until they ran away from their home countries from Europe Rome,Syria,Armenia,Jerusalem and Egypt to seek refuge in Ethiopia for protection and safety .They upheld the Tewahido Faith which most other people who were calling themselves Christians never wanted to accept but stil wanted to be called Christians while rejecting Jesus Christ teachings of One God . Abune Aragawi translated the bible from Coptic to Geez and created legacy of iconography for education,healing and recording our spiritual cultural heritage prevailed within Tewahido Faith .
