The REDI program is currently accepting referrals who are meeting the below eligibility criteria to join Welding English stream or Manufacturing English stream... Eligibility criteria for all Streams : Permanent Residents, Citizens and Refugees claimants with work permit with English Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) between 1 - 4 Please find below updated cohorts dates, criteria and process. Welding Stream (English): RRC/ WISTC Cohort 3 start date : January 11, 2021 Duration of the program: 12 weeks English for Welding Sector at RRC 6 months Welding Training at WISTC (Welding Industrial Skills Training Centre) Work placement / Employment Manufacturing Stream (English) dates: MITT / OFE cohort 3 start date : January 18, 2021 Duration of the program: 10 weeks English for Manufacturing at MITT 8- 10 weeks Employment Training and on-job training at OFE Work placement Employment Current Process: You can share with me the referrals via email to [email protected] or [email protected] Referral email to include the below: - Client full name (first, Middle and last) - Client phone number - Client Email - Interested Stream name (Manufacturing or Welding) Manitoba Start REDI team will call the client for call screening interview and job readiness assessment. If the client is meeting the criteria and passed the assessment(s); Manitoba Start REDI Coordinator will refer the client to the Stream Service Provider. I would appreciate sending referrals before the starting dates of the cohorts allowing enough time for interviews, language assessment or any other administration requirements needed.
