June 1 dog parks to open

Good afternoon Official message from the city of Mississauga. Council met this morning and they have deferred opening park amenities until additional information is brought forward and the Peel Medical Officer of Health can be present to answer questions and provide guidance.... As such, leash free zones will remain closed until Council provides further direction next Wednesday, May 27th. I will communicate with you after Council next Wednesday.

I've been asked if the leash free zones will be opening tomorrow as part of phase one of the Provincial plan to start reopening things. Unfortunately although the parks themselves will be opening for use amenities in the parks such as sports fields and leash free zones are not part of phase one. We must wait a little longer.
