We are busy making museum improvements in our off-season! We would like to give a huge thank you to EQUS and their Operation Round Up Program for their contribution to our newest museum upgrades. Through their support, we were able to install 2 new changing tables in each of our washrooms, install an AED in our front entryway, as well as make some repairs to our skylights. We are so thankful for their support in continuing to make the museum a safer and more accessible environment for our visitors!

We hope everyone is enjoying this lovely Fall weather. We have had several off-season visitors over the last couple months that have been able to enjoy the outdoor grounds and walk through the windmills. We also wanted to give a huge shout out and thank you to the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta. With their assistance through the Covid-19 Relief Fund we were able to purchase a few picnic tables, a hand sanitizer stand, and hand sanitizer. We are so thankful for their support!!!

Can you believe this sewing machine is actually a scroll saw? This ingenious invention was made by Demoine Stromsmoe in 1950.

Check out this old football helmet from the 1910 era! This was donated by Mary Jane Piotrowski. Make sure to stop in on this long weekend to check the sports collection out and for some fresh pie and icecream
